Welcome to Calisthenics Expansion 1, where we embark on a transformative journey right here on Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system. Just as Jupiter symbolizes growth, progress, and expansion, our program is designed to help you achieve these qualities in your calisthenics journey.
This program is tailored for intermediate to advanced athletes who have completed our earlier phases or independently established a strong fitness foundation. Before diving in, we recommend that you are able to perform at least 5 muscle-ups, 12 pull-ups, 20 dips, and 30 push-ups. However, fear not; we offer adaptable modifications to suit your fitness level.
Our goals for Calisthenics Expansion 1 are threefold. First, we aim to cultivate formidable strength in vertical patterns through weighted calisthenics, focusing on a low repetition range of 4 to 6 reps per set. Second, we'll guide you in building a solid base for advanced skills like the Handstand Push-Up, Muscle Up, Front Lever, and Planche. Lastly, we'll incorporate weekly endurance training to enhance your work capacity and relative strength.
The program lasts 8 weeks with a 5-day-per-week upper/lower split routine; however, check the schedule customizations in the lecture section to adapt the program to your unique lifestyle. Throughout this journey, you'll need equipment such as a Pull-up bar, Dip Bar, Parallettes, Gymnastics rings, resistance bands, an elevated surface, and a wall.
